This document is the HP Storm Brochure. Features such as construction, material, performance, fittings, diameter, connections and specifications explained.
HP Storm is a high-performance polypropylene pipe for gravity-flow drainage applications. When premium joint performance and pipe stiffness is required, HP Storm is the perfect choice. Advanced polypropylene resin technology and dual-wall profile design aids in superior performance and durability.
HP Storm utilizes a dual wall construction for pipe stiffness. The stiffness and beam strength enhances jobsite performance in stringent line and grade performance. The pipe profile is completed with a smooth interior which provides more strength and excellent flow. The co-polymer compound is highly resistant to chemical attack and is unaffected by soils or effluents with PH ranges 1.5-14.
The HP Storm pipe has an extended bell that adds an additional factor of safety within each joint. Both standard and custom fittings are available.
The diameter range is described in a chart with nominal diameter, profile type, length, inside diameter, outside diameter and truckload footage.
The Inserta TEE is compatible with HP Storm for tapping. A full range of couplers for soil-tight performance, split couplers and Mar Mac repair bands are available. For soil-tight performance, HP Storm exterior corrugations provide an effective profile for grouted connections.
For watertight performance, ADS offers manhole options from A-Lok, Trelleborg and Press Seal Gasket Corporation, Grouted waterstop manhole connection, flexible boot connection pre-cast compression connection and pre-cast compression gasket connection, diagrams are provided.
The HP Storm 12”-60” pipe specifications cover scope, requirements, joint performance, fittings, field pipe, material properties and installation. A pipe dimension chart is included.
