This document is the 12" Cleanout Access For Stormtech Nyloplast Detail. The Nyloplast inspection port pertaining to traffic rated installation is diagramed.

The diagram shows the Nyloplast 12” solid hinged cover with frame, 4”-6” SCH40 cleanout, 18” minimum width guideline, 8” minimum thickness guideline, the Nyloplast 12” inspection port, 4”-6” DWV SCH40 pipe, backfill and the traffic loads. A downward arrow shows how this unit connects to the StormTech System.

A note about backfill material is that it shall be crushed stone or other granular material meeting the requirements of Class I, Class II or Class III materials as defined in ASTM D2321. Bedding and backfill for surface drainage inlets shall be placed and compacted uniformly in accordance with ASTM D2321.

A note about traffic loads explains how concrete slab dimension are for guideline purposes only. Actual concrete slab must be designed taking into consideration local soil conditions, traffic loading and other applicable design factors.
