This document is the 36" Drain Basin With Ladder Nyloplast Detail. Illustrations with descriptions and notes included.

Illustrations show the corrosion resistant ladder, SS hardware furnished with ladders and a manhole detail showing 14” max per OSHA guidelines, typical angled attachments, minimum 6 per ladder with maximum vertical mounting bolts positioned towards the top of the riser and the ladder base bolted to bottom of end cap.

Note 1 states that ladders serving manhole can use deviations of OSHA 1910.27 found in ASTM C478-12. Note 2 suggests that corrosion resistant brackets, with stainless steel hardware shall be attached to ladder by the pipe fabricator. Note 3 says to use stainless steel bolts, washers and nuts to attach the ladder brackets through the PVC drain basin side wall. Note 4 recommends ladder to be placed so that top rung is less that 14” from the base surface and bottom rung as low as possible. Note 5 states that bottom of ladder shall be attached to bottom end cap with SS hardware. Note 6 says weight of ladder to rest on end cap. Note 7 clarifies that all hardware is to be tightened prior to shipment. Note 8 states that various heights are available are available for 36” manholes with ladders.
